RiffCards does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create in the app stays on your device.

Data We Collect

None.

RiffCards does not collect, store remotely, or transmit:

Personal information (name, email, account details)
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or crash reports
Any content you create in the app

Data Stored on Your Device

All app content — riff cards, tab grids, setlists, and your appearance settings — is stored locally in a private database on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

Export & Import

The app includes an optional Export feature that lets you save your cards as a JSON file and share it using your device's standard share sheet. This action is entirely user-initiated. The exported file goes wherever you choose to send it (Files app, AirDrop, email, etc.). RiffCards has no involvement in or visibility into where you send that file.

The Import feature reads a JSON file you select from your device. The file content is only used to add cards to your local library.

Third-Party Services

RiffCards does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data services.

The app includes tappable links to the developer website (dasw.app) and a contact email address. Tapping these opens your default browser or mail app. RiffCards does not pass any data to those destinations.

Children's Privacy

RiffCards does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13 (COPPA) or children under 16 (GDPR). Since no data is collected at all, there is nothing to delete or restrict.

Your Rights

Because RiffCards stores all data locally on your device and collects no personal information, there is no data held by the developer to access, correct, or delete. To remove all app data, simply uninstall RiffCards from your device.

Changes to This Policy

If the app's data practices change in a future version, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised. The latest version is always available at https://dasw.app/riffcards/.
